After cutting out the 10 inch circle I added 3, 4 x 6 photos and matted them. Then I started working on the chipboard letters, "OUR SLOPES". They can be found at Hobby Lobby, made by the Paper Studio. They give you a 3 inch stack of sheets of alphabet letters in a rainbow of colors. When I started they were white.

TECHNIQUE:
I knew I wanted to color them with Adirondack Alcohol Inks I needed to sand each letter because they started out with shiny glossy finish. I only sanded small areas because I wanted a marble look. I knew that the alcohol ink would be darker on the areas sanded because when I sand it the brownish chipboard color would show through. The ink wouldn't be able to get through the glossy finish, of the chipboard, so that would show a lighter color. After sanding I applied it with the Ink Applicator Tool, by ranger. Use a couple layers on ink if you need to. I did it twice.

I placed the photo's where I wanted them to go so I could see what room I had for the embellishments. I added the blue and white small felt snowflakes. I added them around the edge of the 10 inch circle paper. I also added a gem in the center.

Then I added the grungeboard around those snowflakes. They were already embossed and what I like to do is emphasize the embossing. I lightly colored them with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Then to bring out the embossing I put the ink pad directly on top of the grungeboard and rub it back and forth.

Then I added the "Ski" which is from Making Memories.

I added a sign and a female and male snowman. The male is placed by the big hill photos since my brother goes on those and the female one on the hills I like.

Lastly, I added some Spellbinder die cut snowflakes. I stenciled with Faded Jeans and Stormy Sky Distress Inks.
