Such a great pic and I just love the title, because it's SO true! LOL! Beautiful design as always. Love the measuring tape and the little floral squares down the side.
What a sweet picture of Maggie! Love those papers and the design! The papers match the photo perfectly and the buttons are a nice addition to this page. Absolutely LOVE the title title! How nice of Betty to provide the supplies you needed to create such a beautiful layout while visiting from out of town!
This really did turn out cute! Love that pic of Maggie! She's so adorable! You did a fantastic job - the pps were just perfect for the pic! Love your design! So glad you were able to go to the crop with us - wish we lived close enough to do that more often!!! Great page!
You do wonders even when you aren't working with your own materials! LOL This is just adorable with the great colors, design and your pretty flowers! Another cute title!
How thoughtful and wonderful Betty is! So glad you were able to scrap this truly darling photo of Maggie! (pure joy on that sweet little face) She sure is getting big! I just love your charming and perfect title, and all the awesome details, Susan! I think this is simply precious and beautiful!
This turned out really cute! Those papers look like they were made to go with the photo!! Love your design, with all the little squares! Perfect title! And great job on all that doodling!
Photo of my little granddaughter, Maggie. I spent last weekend with my Mother to celebrate her 86th birthday. While we were there, I also went to a crop with my sister, Betty (kzookeeper) and my niece, Sarah (Sarah_Liz). I didn't take anything with me to work on, but Betty was prepared! She had printed out this darling photo of my youngest granddaughter, Maggie and brought me some pappers and embellies to work with. Maggie is getting a bath while visiting her great-grandma (my Mama). Nothing like bathing a baby in the kitchen sink! LOL! The papers are from Making Memories and are called Chloe's Closet. The colors were perfect with the colors in the photo! I hand cut some of the flowers from the papers and popped them up around the photo. The little squares on the side were cut in 1.5 inch squares, and I rounded each of the corners of the top and bottom piece. I also rounded the outside corners on the mat behind the photo. I cut a frame from the blue gingham and used it to frame the photo. Added a bit of faux stitching in blue and orange...and a few buttons for the flower centers. I also added glossy accents to the title word "wet". I kind of got a kick out of the title...because if you've ever bathed a baby...you know...they are definitely "slippery when wet"!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
(BTW, the black border was added digitally so the edges would not fade away. The background piece is white cardstock)
