Thanksgiving 2005 at my sister's cabin in Heber, AZ. This was the first time the whole family was together for a holiday since 1990.
My son and my great nephew went hunting. It was a first for my son. I really didn't think he'd kill anything. But he did - he even skinned and dressed it himself. Unfortunately that night he got sick and was unable to partake in the rabbit feast we had the following morning.
I muted the colors in photographs - don't like gore and made cute little bunnies with CM's heart punch to soften the layout's subject. Hope he likes it.
The bunny over the picture of the two of them can be pulled out to reveal hidden journaling. The journaling reads:

I didn't know you had it in you. Very impressive! Not only did you bag a rabbit on your first time out, you skinned and dressed it too. No matter how old you get, I'm still dicovering new things about you. Love, Mom
