In Hollywood we had to have lunch at the famous Mel's Diner. Luv'd the fifties feel of the place and so much rock n roll memorabilia, it's hard to name it all.... Journal: In Hollywood, we stopped in for a late lunch at Mel's Drive In. It was just around the corner from where we had been sight seeing and if you're not paying attention, you could miss the entrance. The diner gave you a fill of the doo wop era. Walls were decorated with rock n' roll legends and photos of the movie American Graffiti. Every song that played had Grams singing right along. We got a big kick out of Shawn's meal coming in a blue Cadillac!! April 5, 2011
