That paper couldn't be any more perfect!!! The title is awesome too. I'm always envious of people who can actually grow things. I kill almost all of it!
Sweet! Really cute. I love baby radishes and it's so satisfying that they are easy to grow. I love your page. It really gave me a feel-good moment and made me want to go dig in the dirt!
this turned out super cute! love your seed packet with the seeds coming out- you are so creative! perfect papers and design! love the title lettering, the flower, the dragonfly, the stitching, the ribbon- ok, you get it! another to my faves!
Awesome layout! LOVE the seed packet with the seeds spilling out! The papers are perfect for this...and I love the title work! Just look at you journaling on your layouts! LOve it!!
Darling page! I love the seed packet with the seeds spilling out!! Great title! The pps you used are perfect for this garden page, especially since there are radishes on the paper! Love that daisy rub on and the addition of the dragonfly brad with the doodled trail. Fabulous job! Fave for me!
Love radishes, now I'm hungry for some! LOL How amazing to find pp with them on it! I've looked for peaches and a nasturium(sp?) seed packet for 2 different vintage layouts for ages! Lucky you and great layout!
Journaling reads: "It’s been several years since we were able to have a garden. So, I’ve been very excited this year about getting things planted – maybe rushed it a little bit. We wound up replanting our green peas and beets, probably because of the cold snap and excessive rain. However, my little radishes came up and flourished. They were some of the first seeds planted and they were the first to be harvested! Planted: 2-23-11 Harvested: 3-24-11
Layout design is based on a PageMaps sketch. Frame and border are handcut follow pp design. "How does the garden grow?" is cut from ribbon and mounted on brown cs, then scalloped with deco scissors. "1st pickin'" is done with Thickers. "of the season" is done with rub ons. The seed pack was printed from a photo I found online and I folded under the edges and tore the top off and inked with red. The seeds were done with stamps, then I added white dot highlights to them. The dragonfly is a brad and the flower is a rubon. I added random white mini brads to the frame, stitched around the top with green DMC, doodled around the bottom in brown, and added brown rickrack. TFL!!!
