I found this photo of 4 generations on my mom's side. The baby my mom is holding is my brother, Christopher.

Ahhhhh where to begin with purple....my scrapping nemesis. We don't like each other very much. It tolerates me as I use my scrapping throwdown technique to tame it into submission. Behind my back or at night while I sleep, purple behaves like a naughty child ( and ohhh I know a thing or two about naughty children as all moms do!. )

But as for purple, we have no love for each other. But alas, I must scrap purple to play in GentlewoodFarms monochrome challenge this month.

The large butterfly on top was used to create the stencil on the bottom. I used molding paste mixed with white acrylic paint for the stencil. Now molding paste is my pal and we have tons of fun and giggles together.

When I lifted the butterfly die cut up after stenciling, I found I liked the texture of the remaining paste on the die cut so I decided to use the die cut as well.

Little commercial break here for K&Company - grab those K&C die cuts shown in my product list. There are some great knock-out gorgeous dies that can double as masks for mists and stencils. I have a few packs just because I hoard. ;)

Thanks for looking
