My Great Aunt Julia had no children so when she passed away, we cleaned out her farm house. In the garbage bin were 2 of her photo albums. Yeah! No kidding - you know exactly what I'm thinking! Run Jen, grab them before someone else realizes what they are and grabs them first. :)

True to form, and once again garbage picking - for the good of it all.....
In the albums were wonderful treasures. These pictures are of my mom as a 3yr old. Picture 1 is Grandma and mom. Picture 2 is Grandpa and mom and her cousin. In the background just a few feet away from the kids is a cow grazing. In the far background is the outhouse. Picture 3 is my Great Aunt Julia holding the kids.

There were so many happy memories of this old farm growing up. As a child, we would would visit the farm and have a ton of fun in the hay, on the tractor, in the fields, picking corn. I know my mom has great memories too.

This was created for the Dusty Attic sketch challenge - based on the sketch by Michelle Grant. I used the Swirlydoos kit papers.

I used the DA swirly flourishes and inked and stickled. I made the leaves out of some discount fabric that i cut and inked and frayed the edges (really ugly stuff for anything but leaves in my opinion).

Thanks for looking
