I basically did this LO because I received some school pp for free and just wanted to use it up. Just so happened that it was my nieces school colors so it was appropriate. This was a huge game for her high school, cross town rival high schools competing for the Smudge Pot (kind of like the Stanley Cup would be to hockey, the Smudge Pot is to these kids). They ended up winning the game and the Smudge Pot for the next year anyway.

Partially hidden journaling reads: On October 7, 2005 in a land of citrus groves lies a town named after the color of the soil...Redlands. Two rival high schools are battling it out on the football field for the highly coveted Smudge Pot. Elise is a cheeleader for Redlands East Valley Wildcats and made this shirt for Bella to wear to the game. REV won 27 to 12! Cat's Rule...Dog's Drool!
