(Tuesday Trip – April 12, 2011) Journal: We took a trip to the Griffith Observatory on April12, 2011. The building sits on the slope of the Mount Hollywood in Los Angeles. With amazing views from the Santa Monica Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The Hollywood sign is just a few yards away. The scent of wild flowers fills the air since they grow abundant on the hillsides. Inside there are several exhibits displaying the solar system and the effects it has on our weather and even our horoscope? Shawn loved the moon display. Brittney enjoyed the “Making of a Comet” show! We had a great time and it's hard to believe the admission to this incredible place has been free since 1935! TFL!!
