Give a Cheer
Tina wanted a layout of a favorite saying or some advice that meant a lot to us. I chose to do this layout of something my mom always said to me from the time I was tiny until she passed away last May. I remember specifically being in this very dress and asking if I looked pretty. She replied with the "pretty is as pretty does" saying. I didn't know what that meant then but since she repeated it so much, I finally got the meaning of it. I know that she felt like a person could only be beautiful if they were beautiful inside....or if their actions were beautiful. The photo is of my beautiful mother and me when I was three. I KNOW without a doubt that my mom was gorgeous on the inside and on the out! I hope and pray that she felt the same about me...I want to make her proud of who I am today. There isn't one single day go by that I don't think of her or remember something about her...I would give everything I had to just talk to her again!
