I did this for TCR #55 (better late than never!) and for the pagemaps challenge.
I threw all sorts of stuff at this from dry wall tape to cork to glitter to canvas. It's to symbolize all the different layers of my dd..she is a bit of a tomboy but also loves her pink and purple, she wants to wear lip gloss but then help her father with construction projects! That's our Sophia and I've done some hidden journaling for her about always being herself and listening to her heart.
I made all the flowers, some from tulle and some from crepe paper, cut the hearts out of cork coasters, tore cardboard and used molding paste and paint on dry wall tape. The bird and cage I cut with my sil and painted and heat embossed. Tfl!
