My husband's mom. She's pretty unusual... The first photos I ever saw of her were the karate ones.
One particularly amusing story from the journaling: sometimes she and her friends would practice sword forms in a clearing next to the road. The neighbors were considering putting up a sing "CAUTION, Women with Swords"

I really like the ribbons on the layout, although
