Photos of me with a pike I caught and a common loon in its winter plumage.

Journaling: October 7, 2007 - Fishing for Northern on Forest and watching the loons -- my fave kind of day!

This is for:
1) NSD He Loves Me Challenge: The LO had to include a handmade flower embellishment. I made the flower in the lower left with a circle of cs, 3 scalloped circles punched out of vellum, and a button.

2) May Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 1. I mirrored the sketch because I wanted the species of fish I was catching to show on the pp, and there weren't any that would be visible if I put the photos on the left side of the page.

3) May Monochrome Challenge Week 4 - Emerald Green. I did the twist to use vellum -- the large mat is leaf print vellum, and the flower is made from scalloped circles punched from the same vellum.

I machine stitched a couple lines across the top, and the journaling lines in the lower left. Various circles across the middle are popped up on foam tape.
