Oh my goodness! What a wonderful, sweet, and fabulous photo! I am so glad that your sister has found happiness again. Your page is such a fabulous memory for her and great design!
Oh, I love this! First of all, I love that photo of my kids...and LOOK! They're actually getting along with each other! LOL!!! I love this design...and the papers are so great with the photo. Great job on all the stamping! Beautiful layout...definitely a FAVE for me!
These are my sister Susan's (sgoetter) three children. They looked so adorable in their little matching outfits (made by Susan). This photo was made on the day Susan and Butch (her second husband) were married. Susan lost her first husband in an auto accident and we were all thrilled for her when she met Butch. He is a wonderful, sweet man and a loving father to her children.
PPs and flower stamps are by Close To My Heart. The lettering was cut with my Cuttlebug, using some QuicKutz dies that Susan gave to me - thanks again!!! The flowers are cut by hand and then I added some doodles with a Signo pen. "Oh" is stamped, using CTMH ink and some .99 stamps from Michaels. The butterflies are a MS punch - doodled with Signo. Then I added trails with a CTMH pen. The scallops around the circles were cut with deco scissors. The blue flower and butterflies are pop dotted. The scallops are stamped (by Hero Arts) with CTMH ink. The names and date were stamped with a set of vintage lettering stamps that Sarah and I found last week at the antique store and I love how they look!! (and believe it or not - all of the letters, numbers and even punctuation and fractions were there!) Last, I added the glass (really plastic) beads and the bit of ribbon (the white slide is by CTMH). The page design is based on a sketch by Melinda Spinks. Thanks so much for looking!
