so awesome! i also don't have tons of photos of dd as newborn as we were struggling with so many things that snapping a photo wasn't at the top of my priorities. so inspired now to document those days that i won't ever forget. thank you!
OMG, what sweet, tender and heartfelt journaling, Izzy. It made me remember of the first three months of Will's life when I never saw my bed because we slept in a recliner, and he wouldn't sleep in his crib no matter what. So heartwarming!!!!!!!! Very, very nicely done!
Again....an amazing page - you are rocking them out, sister! My second baby had colic and had nights that were so hard, and reading this brought that right back. Awesome journalling.
That'll teach me to click on one of your LO's just before I head out the door...now I have to go fix my mascara! Beautiful, touching journalling, Izzy, a treasure for years to come!
Being sentimental resulted in an awesome layout with journaling that will be so treasured by him in years to come. You are so right that you "will always remember" as this brought to mind similar feelings with my own child who is now 41 years old!
Izzy, you are quite welcome! You are so deserving.....you are amongst so many on this wonderful site that inspire me. I thank you for that! I love this site so much, my time on facebook is becoming less and less. Some of my friends on facebook have noticed. Whoops...... Hope you enjoy your evening! Cindy
Oh Izzy you got me with this one. I so totally got teary eyed over your journaling. This may be my favorite layout of yours ever and that's saying a LOT!
Izzy, what a sweet page..............................a page that will mean the world to your precious son. Love the journaling! When it's all said and done, that's what means the most! Way to go Izzy! Cindy
I was feeling sentimental on Mother's Day and journaled my memories of bonding with my newborn. For many of my most vivid and fondest recollections of that first year, and especially the first few months, there is no photo. No photo of the way he felt next to me, of the slightly powdery fresh baby smell, of the first coos I heard him make, of the late nights we spent in the rocking chair, both desperate for sleep. No photo of my quiet tears or of the prayers I lifted up. There's no photos but I remember.
I used Crate Paper's "snow day" collection here and did some doodling, both with a brown pen and a signo. Thanks for taking a peek
