Give a Cheer
This is Cassie's school portrait for 5th grade (9/2007). It's suddenly occurred to me since eighth grade graduation is next month that I would really like to have her elementary/middle school LO's done before she goes to high school. I would like to put East Lake Academy behind me when she does!
Anyway, this was the first year that they took a formal class portrait in addition to the whole school portrait. I used both with a couple of the school seals to fill the spaces and matted them together. The names of the kids in her class (4th & 5th grades combined class) are printed on vellum and adhered to the lower corner of the pic. I didn't even attempt to do names for the whole school like I have done for all the previous years -- the school doubled in size that year. The two little bios are from the school newsletter and are about her regular teacher and the Spanish teacher. I saved the name tag that's above her portrait from back-to-school night or something because it's a nice example of her signature at that time.
