I love the sentiment that goes with this arch. What a brilliant idea to use velcro to attach the frame. You are so talented and inspiring. Love looking at all your work! The flowers look great! Beautiful!
Design Team work for Bella Creations. Gothic Arch made for Tres Chic Challenge/May~
I used; stiff cardboard cut to arch shape ceramic floral spray Prima red flowers sheer ribbon Prima crystals metal button M. Stewart edge punch mulberry paper black ink velcro white moire easel back place card frame black Bazzill paper (www. bellacreations.ning.com)
I tore paper into strips and punched one edge. I cut cardboard into the the Gothic Arch (house shape) and placed paper strips overlapping each other. There is a poem on the back, and the last 4 lines are placed on the front, strip-journaling style. The moire frame can be removed (it is velcroed onto Arch) to insert a photo, then re-attatched without disturbing the flowers! I made an easel back on the Arch so it will stand on a table. I will post photos of how I made this on my blog as soon as Blogger is back online! I will also include the full poem on my Blog. www.poetryinapotoftea.blogspot.com
