Standing from left to right are Whitlow Miles, our Supv., Sam Miller, Adjuster, and Me. Sitting are my mom on Jerry Smiley's lap, who was also an Adjuster. This was when I worked for State Farm Ins. Co in the Automobile Claims Dept. I worked for State Farm for 24 yrs. before I quit. When I quit I was working for Carolyn Thompson; Jeff Thompson; Sam Miller; Tom Zimmer; Ann Bell; and also worked for Buck, who wrote estimates on damaged vehicles. I answered the phone every afternoon; opened the mail belonging to my bosses; stamped their mail in the afternoons; was the receptionist and the only one in the front to great people when they came in; and also typist for all my bosses. We had two other secretaries.......Sue, who was our Supt.'s secretary; and Joyce, who also worked in the claims dept. who worked for Barney Kempton. When I quit, they hired 3 girls to take my place, and I don't know why because I would finish my work every morning and sit all afternoon long except to answer the phone! That's why I quit......not only was I bored, but one of my friends and I started our own business called "The Beautiful You" and we devoted our time full time to that once I quit. So, we went from the small office you see in the photo, to a very large one in 24 yrs. TFL.
