Give a Cheer
I was in an olive green and burnished gold mood when I made my 2011 St. Patrick's Day cards, as seen in this card which I made for my beloved younger sister and her terrific boyfriend.
It's a smidge hard to see in this image, but there's a subtle layer of gold Webster's Pages Vintage Inspired (gold) Netting atop the die cut Making Memories ("Greenhouse") journaling book page used for the background of this festive card. I really liked this touch (though it was hard to get it to stay in place with roll-on style adhesive, I think next time I try it, I'll use a strong, quick setting clear liquid glue instead).
