You captured the emotion perfectly. The feeling of peaceful, loving completion radiates from the photo. The contrast between the peace of the photo and the romantic artwork creates a totally beautiful layout.
Splendidly delicious, utterly captivating combination of frothy pinks and delicate whites, combine to delight the senses on this amazing piece of scrap art. (How'd I do?) xo
Besides the fact that one cannot see your faces, the photo is still very beautiful and some of the photos I love best was taken from the back of the object. Another beautiful lo..loving the pinks and reds :)
Jessica, this is totally gorgeous and my oh my have you really stepped up YOUR game! You just keep on getting better and better to awe us all! This is Valentines perfection. The photo is wonderful in B&W for the contrast this page needed. Then paired with the soft pinks and pure whites, just a great combo. Love it and FAV. Great floral clusters too. Great heartfelt journaling.
This is such a beautiful and romantic layout. Love the photo of the two of you...looking out into the distance, and that great title! Yes, it IS wonderful to fall in love over and over again!!!!
This page is one of the more recent that I've created (haven't been able to get in nearly as much scrapbooking this spring as I'd ideally have liked to – but some is certainly better than none!). It was done back in February when Valentine's and the whole vast topic of love was on my mind. As such I wanted to make a page that celebrated one of the important things I've learned about love throughout my life (that being the concept that continually falling in love over and over again is one of the keys to a happy and successful relationship).
The photo shows my husband and I standing on Toronto Island (in Toronto, ON) looking out over Lake Ontario at the city (in June 2009). I like the reflective quality that comes from the fact that you can't actually see either of our faces in it.
The pink paper cut-outs have the loveliest old fashioned style drawings on them (one of a couple kissing, the other of girl swinging on a swing with cherubs encircling her), and I felt that they helped reinforce the romantic feel of this page (to help them standout a bit more I covered both with two thin layers of Judi Kins "Diamond Glaze").
~ Heartfelt thanks for checking out my page. Any questions about this LO, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a blissfully creative day! ~
