Give a Cheer
Cheerful Monday morning greetings, everyone!
It had been a while since I'd created a page with (predominant) circles on it and really wanted to do so again. I was in the mood to whip up something brightly cheerful and when I spotted this photo of my granny cradling my little brother (her second grandchild out of six in total) in her arms, I knew it was just the ticket.
Though my brother was born in the late 80s, when I think of my granny's house I'm reminded more of the 60s and 70s, as those were the years from which most of her furniture and decor hails from. To capture the feel of those years I went with playful, sweetly retro feeling papers and cute vintage images (the rocking chair, yellow August calendar page).
The blue, red and yellow colour theme ties into the hues in the photo, and I think would work well for a page featuring a baby boy.
