Pics I took with my Palm at one of Cassie's violin lessons in Oct. '07. Journaling says: Cassie started private violin lessons with Michael Barengolts this year through the Mundelein Park District. He used a pre-school room at the Community Center during sessions, and between sessions, we went to his home. Cassie was still too little to use my violin so we rented a 1/2 size instrument for her.

This is for the May Monochrome Challenge Week 3 Purple, and I did the twist to use stamps. The rows of music symbols along the top and bottom edge of the center purple pp are stamped, and so is part of the date on the tag.

The tag was bare chipboard that I painted white. I then stamped the OCT block and the tiny 2007 with Dusty Concord ink and inked the edges as well. For the 17, I sanded the finish off some white Making Memories stickers and inked them, also with Dusty Concord. Before the ink was dry, I applied Clear Rock Candy over the whole tag so it all smeared together for a nice effect. There are purple fibers along with the sequin strips, but they're hard to see in the pic. The doily is inked with Dusty Concord as well as Milled Lavender.

I used an August '10 PageMap.
