My daughter had her dance portraits for this year taken last weekend -- she's in NINE dances this year, God help me -- so I figured I'd better get moving on scrapping the old ones I still have to do. This is her Tap portrait from the '07-'08 dance year -- her first year taking Tap and Ballet as separate classes. They danced to 'Fun in the Sun' from the Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack. The coordinating LO with the group portrait and dress rehearsal photos is in my gallery.

The large 'Tap' on the pp was white, and it drew too much attention from the photo so I used my Quickie Glue pen to color it in and cover it with ultra fine pewter glitter. The 'acc' & '1-2' (for accelerated tap and the class level) are white stickers that I also covered in glitter. I made the scalloped strip using my Martha Stewart corner rounder, and I doodled the white dots around the scallops. I machine stitched the zigzags. I used a June '08 PageMap for the design.
