Reading your story and reading about such a sad time in your lives, you show the darkness so well and yet the yellow background reminds me of sunny days are ahead. Great layout and thank you for sharing.
Oh my goodness, such an emotional page, truly inspiring and heartbreaking. I really feel silly saying this is a beautiful layout, it seems a rather rote thing to say in response to this earthquake of a time....but it is a stunning expression of grief and chaos. I wish your whole family and your son healing, which will come with time.
Wow this lo is just stunning. I love the lacing and distressing along with all the other details you put in this. It's a great masculine page. So sorry for your loss.
What a wonderful LO and tribute to your son's pain that he's had to endure. Many personal things on the LO and I find it just beautiful and so meaningful.
This is a very touching page. Bless you all. You did such an excellent job on such a personal page. You are amazing in your strength and for sharing with all of us.
What an awesome page in so many ways. I'm glad you're able to scrap the stages you and your family have gone through (and still going through) in dealing with your loss.
Beautiful layout...Thanks for sharing the story and I am sorry for your loss. What a brave boy he is....very moving layout now I understand the story behind it.
Oh my goodness. When I clicked on the page, I was amazed at the layout. But reading how personal it is just makes it even more amazing. It's so powerful and very touching how all the little details mean something. You did a beautiful job. I'm sorry for your loss and will pray for continued healing for your family.
This is an incredible LO. It is really powerful how you put together many of the complicated elements of death and loss, and mourning. This LO is very touching and I hope for you healing also.
Such an amazing page with so much pain and healing. I so feel for your loss and admire your strength and his. I love the way you did his picture but left his face clear and strong.
Okay, I thought this was a fabulous LO, then after reading all the meaning in it, it's just so intense, and touching. Such a beautiful job on this...thank you for sharing all the meaning behind all the elements. And Bravo for the strength of your son, and yourself!

RAW emotions put to paper - AMAZING!!!! All the symbolism, love and care that went into this is a true testament to your strength. And it's obvious that your strength has allowed your DS to endure. May you and your family continue to heal.

This is great! I love the bright sunny yellow with such a somber yet powerful topic! The way you incorporated such personal pieces really makes this a unique lo. Thank YOU for sharing it with us all!
Fabulous layout. I love, love the colors and the feel it gives. I like how you did the corrugated title too. Very touching and a great reflection of all you and he have been through.
This is an amazing layout...so much emotion..just like CreativeKate, i to click on it because it is a great boy layout...wow i am amazed at the thought and emotion you have put into this layout...beautiful! I wish you all well. x
There are a lot of personal things in this LO, first i wrote about the storm of chaos our family as been in since morgan's, my oldest son in the pic, sister (my daughter) Kristen died, which i put her angel day of march 6 on the card in red ink, like blood to block out that day
in the writing i wrote "Death and sadness have crossed your path at such a young age, yet you have prevailed and weather the storm of chaos in your life, for time does heal, and for this you are stronger than you will ever know".
For the time passing i used the clocks under the photos and all the clocks are pointed at the time of her death (noon), and the storm is from the clouds, but they are dark and confusing clouds, the splatters all over the page are the mess we have dealt with since her death (pain and suffering), but the metal parts and the lacing are the strength that holds our family together. I also distress the papers and his picture by folding it up to create the white lines on it, to show how he has weathered this time in his life.
So as i said, a personal page to help me get through this time, but the twist is he is a superhero for enduring all this he has had to go through in his life starting at 3 years of age.
