I've scrapped this photo before but I did it here because I was inspired by one of my parents' wedding cards (from 1942) which I also just posted in my gallery. My folks were very sentimental and kept all their wedding cards which my sister and i unearthed as we've been cleaning out their house. I think they would have liked this.
Mom was still a teenager when they met during WW2 and fell in love. Dad was in the Navy. The story is he called her one day and told her if she wanted to get married she was gonna have to hurry on down to Florida..(she was in Virginia). She did.,thank goodness. She turned 20 the day after they got married.
The polka dot pp is from Ms and is a great match to the card. The other pp is by Kaisercraft which is flocked and prettier IRL. The lace is from my lss. The flowers are all Prima..letters are Thickers.
I drew and colored the ribbons and bells.
Entered in the techniques and heritage challenges.
