Such a heartwarming touching story. It's so, so special that you were able to give this immensely dear pup a fur-ever home for a while, I'm sure you made his life truly fantastic.
Very cute layout and story! Love how you used all the scraps and old tools, like the punches. You did a fantastic job of pulling it all together. Max looks like a really cute boy! Cheers, Amber
love your mix of embellies and terrific colours. great title work too. Max was such a cutie.....glad you found each other and he had you to give him a loving home for his last years.
I'm so glad Max found his forever home with you! I think these lost dogs are the best opets, because they are so grateful for their life being saved - literally. Beautiful page, cool embellishments!
how wonderful that you could give Max a loving home to live out his years. I am sure he appreciated it and this is a lovely tribute to him...love the sequence of pics and the paw prints!!

Your "a little bit of this and a little bit of that" is always totally awesome, Vickie!! You are such nice people to have taken in Max! He looks totally adorable and I bet was so happy to have a loving home the last couple of years of his life! Thanks for sharing your heartfelt and lovely story with us! Your layout design is really great - such a lovely page!!!!!
Ohhhhh...what a great page. Max was such a handsome boy!! So glad you found each other and were able to share those last few years together. I'm sure you were both blessed. Thanks for sharing Max with us!
Ahh! I love Max too. And there's your daughter (now grown up) Did I ever tell you our school mascot was a bulldog? We were the Bruce High School bulldogs. Somewhere I have a nifty Bulldog letter from a cheerleading sweater! Give Winnie a gug!
oh my there this lil story gave me a lump in the throat...I am a real softie where animals are concerned...wonderful page to forever remember max...and I am sure you gave him so much luv in the years before he passed
1988 - this was our 1st bulldog Max. "Floyd found Max wandering around the dentist's parking lot. Lost and alone, we took him home where he found a FOREVER home." After running ads in the newspaper, posting signs and calling the animal shelter, no one ever claimed this sweet boy. Sadly Max died of cancer only a few short years after we found him. Once again I've used a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Stamped the title and fussy cut it. Used some punches I hadn't seen in a while (small heart and square), bits of scrap pp and various stamps. (for the June scrap your pet challenge) TFL
