Page one of this two-page LO. This idea has been in my head since I started scrapping, just never felt I had the right paper or look. When the May Color Challenge was brown, turquoise and yellow, I knew I wanted to do this as those were my wedding colors! I missed the challenge deadline by like half an hour so I'm putting this in several others:
- June Technique Challenge: handmade embellishments/embossing
- VLB Challenge.
I'm really proud of these pages as they took me a long time to put together and it was my first time trying water distressing and handmade flowers! I found these photo tutorials over at Swirlydoos.com.
I have to laugh at the littlest pic below the handmade rose as that's my mom safety-pinning me into my dress!! I had six pins in... stupid flat chest... LOL;)
