I scraplifted an idea from another Neighbor to "mat" my PP, so that's how I got the strip down the left side. The journaling is about the history that the tree has "seen" in 300 years. It's a 300 year old Oak tree. I don't think I used the PP to the best of its beauty, so I'll need to do another Basic Gray layout with that paper.
Also, I gotta have Derek stop wearing red when I want to do a muted layout! LOL
