Journaling: 4-Karen turned 40 today, and Marc organized a surprise dinner for friends and family at her favorite restaurant, Seasons 52. She was totally surprised!

5-Cherries are in season, and I am loving them.

6-The munchkins are here for a few days while Marc and Karen are in NYC. This is the herd drying off after bathtime.

7-I loved this week’s new recipe, Sarah’s Cherry Clafoutis -- Katie and Sam, not so much.

8-Katie and Sam are really into crafts, so I tried to have one for them to do each day. Here they are staring into the oven, waiting for the Shrinky Dinks to shrink.

9-I took the munchkins to their house this afternoon so that they could swim while waiting for their parents to get back. Sam looks like Aquaman in all his gear.

10-Even though Katie and Sam colored up a storm, there are still quite a few crayons with nice sharp points -- looks like they’re not into pinks and greens.
