This is a photo I took in my yard early one morning in May 2011. The sun was lighting up the young blooms and giving them a gorgeous glowing effect. Then I applied some Florabella textures to them in photoshop.
My matting background is the paper bag packaging that comes with the kit. I ripped, inked and mod-podged it. hmmmm I think modpodge is one word. MelindaK, at Scraps of Darkness gives us all that wonderful brown packaging extra bonus so I thought I'd use it up - never wanting to toss out great packaging in the garbage!
The grapevine sticks are from my backyard that I tied together with some jute. When I was out doing yard work, I saw the wild grapevines in my woods are getting a little aggressive. I was all too happy to break some twigs off to prove to my husband that, yes, I have started pruning the yard and the wild growth.
