This is a photo of my great-aunt Maria getting married in the early 1950's. She had a fairy tale romance and wedding and I think the photo shows a glimpse into that. I never got to meet her, since she was the first sister of the 5 to pass away. She died in child birth but got to see her son before passing. I like to remember that she was happy and did not regret anything.
