I love this! I love the edges of your background paper and the colors are just my style. I would love to see when you get pics on this page. It is really cute.
I love finding ways to make my pages interactive so I used a trick from one of last year’s QQ convention classes, an interactive mini book. This particular one page layout holds up to 15 photos (3 in the windows and 12 in the book).
The papers are from the “Savvy Davvy” line made by Quick Quotes. On this layout I used QQ’s Chalking Inks in Blue Hawaiian, Maraschino Cherry, Limeade & Tahiti. For the ‘SUMMER’ chipboard letters I stamped on it with polka dots and then embossed in a light blue. The ‘flip flops’ vellum is from QQ as well. The green flip flops at the top of the book I made myself by cutting out paper and adding ribbon for the straps. The border was created with a Martha Stewart punch around the page.
For a TUTORIAL on how to make the mini book & attach it to the page protector please head over to my blog: www.scrapaholic22.blogspot.com :)
