Journaling: After breakfast, we took a taxi to the train station for the 2.5-hour trip to Budapest. Rick had warned us about unscrupulous cabbies, so we were careful to have the tourist information office call a reputable one for us. We also had to find an ATM to acquire Hungarian forints. We checked into the K+K Hotel Opera to find very nice air-conditioned rooms with FREE wifi. At the train station in Vienna, we saw a group dressed in matching orange shirts. I jokingly called them the bowling team. Imagine our surprise when we ran into them twice more as we walked around Budapest that day. I finally had to go over and tell them why I was taking their picture. We had a good laugh with them. 05.13.11
