Thank you! I figured there was cheaper stuff than the modeling paste I found at the craft store. I'm so happy you told me which stuff and where. I predict a shopping trip to the hardware store in my near future.
Don't you love that clock template? My other fave is the anitiquities...awesome stencils! I love your design! Oh btw...I learned from christy tomlinsons sheart workshop that the modeling paste you buy in the artist sections of the craft stores, is the same stuff they use to patch up dry wall...huge price difference! (maybe everyone but me knew that?) but if you didn't and you get into the modeling paste as much as I am... it would be worth a try!
I used modeling paste with my new clocks stencil to make my design. I matted the photo and used wire holders as decorative matting corners. I used die cut letters for the title. I stamped my name and my husband's on metal and attached it to the bottom right hand corner. I also used this LO by Amancuso as inspiration for this LO from here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/361883/view/3227001/0/20/1.html. I really like how the modeling clay turned. Out so I'mll be using it again. Thanks for looking.
