My daughters at my husband's company picnic in April 2011. This is my first cognizant attempt at cluster embellishment. I finally feel as if I know how to make the bones of a LO correctly after taking a class yesterday. The bottom layer of my cluster is tea dye smooch and gold homemade glimmer mist and a few paper flourishes. I also masked some hearts, flowers, and flourishes in this layer. The second layer is torn cardboard and a ton of punched hearts, flourishes, flowers, and butterflies (some misted, too). The top layer is the title "Picnic" which is store bought. I added a few more hearts, flowers, and butterflies. I made pull out hidden journaling strips and put embelllies on the end to look like part of the cluster (I hope). I'm pleased how this turned out. I wish I had better photos in this. Thanks for looking.
