Journaling: We bought a two-day Budapest transportation pass that included an boat cruise down the Danube. Every trip has to include a train ride for Don and a boat ride for Everette. Our cruise was very relaxing and a great way to learn more about Budapest, which is actually two cities divided by the Danube. The narration was very clever, using a male voice for Buda and a female voice for Pest. We saw the beautiful Parliament building, the Royal Palace and Matthias Church on Castle Hill, the Cave Church, and the Chain Bridge. On the way back, the staff served a colorful and refreshing fruit drink. And Don was able to get in a little sudoku along the way. 05.14.11
