Give a Cheer
This is my niece Emeline at 1, 2 and 3... days old. The journaling says (translated):
"On Thursday, November 16th 2000, what a pleasure it was to hear you were born! I lived in Brussels so I couldn't visit you right away. But the following day, I took a train to Paris just after work to finally see you. This is one of my best memories, holding you in my arms. By the way, you were in everybody's arms, we all wanted to cuddle you. And you didn't notice a thing, you were asleep all the time!"
Funny thing is that I visited her at the hospital 3 days in a row, and never saw her awake :) Then the weekend ended and I had to go back home, and I only saw my niece again at Christmas... finally awake! ;)
This double layout is for the NSD winners challenge. I painted the white letters with Shimmerz Blingz Under the sea, as well as the light greenish blue flourishes of the round die cut paper. I wrote the journaling with a Copic glitter pen (colour: lipstick).
