What an awesome photo and a great memory! Love your journal too - very true! Great use of your uglies... I don't see any uglies there - only pretties! :)
Great lo! I can hardly see your uglies (which I loved). Great photo, hard to believe your father is 80 in that picture! Your daughter looks a lot like your mom, too!
This is a great LO Cassondra. Thanks for the love & shout out up above about my original but I totally 'love' yours. The stitched portions are wonderful! :)
Hahaha I hated those papers so much. I am kind of bummed you like them lol. This layout turned out GREAT! The picture is wonderful. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the hearts and "of love" creations!
This LO was made using my June ugly papers which I LOVED!! I knew the minute I opened them and saw the #5 bingo circle I was going to finally do something with this photo...but wasn't sure what!!! Then I saw Lisa Giesbrechts "generations" LO and knew exactly how to use it....I still like hers better but I am happy with the mine turned out!! The photo was taken on my grand fathers 80th birthday. 5 generations - my granfather, mom, me, daughter and grandaughter. The text reads : No matter who we are or what path we choose in life we are all connected to one another in the fabric that is our family...and all the generations that come before us and after us are the true heart and soul of our heritage. My uglie were the blue in the top and bottom left corners & the brown leafy stuff towards the middle on the left. I also used both papers in the hearts & letters. Ugly embellies were the bingo number which I painted blue and the stitched "journey" which was a tag but at the last minute I forgot I hadn't used it so I cut it small to fit it in!! The colors are much more brown and a greenish blue than the picture shows. Thanks for looking and thanks Lisa for inspiring me to honor our 5 generations!!
