Your story melts my heart and reminds me of my aunt.. I too didn't understand how gardening makes you feel until I was way older. I enjoy it so much now. Tfs, lovely page!!!
Absolutely beautiful. My step mom and dad always had beautiful flowers beds all around the home I grew up in. Why I never inherited a green thumb, I will never know. This layout is so pretty it should be a magazine cover. Your love of gardening shines through on this page!
This is truly gorgeous and amazing Deb!! I just love your brick wall in the background. Your flowers are gorgeous too! I wish you lived closer. I'd let you work in my yard. There is too much yard out there for one person. Bruce's vegetable garden is nothing but weeds. makes me feel bad for all the hard work he put into it.
My love of gardening was passed down to me from my mom. Most summer evenings you could find her puttering away in her garden...she always seemed her happiest there. . As a child I didn't quite understand what drew her there time and again, but I LOVED it when Mom was happy. As an adult I have a much better appreciation of where Mom was coming from. There is nothing like the smell of freshly turned earth warmed by the sun or the anticipation of that first bloom of spring....I LOVE watching things grow. Thank you Mom...I get it now. :)
