Such cute embelllies! We had a skunk outside my parents house a few months ago.....thank god it didn't stick around! Love how you incorporated that one pp into the various parts of your lo!
Wonderful layout and I so enjoyed reading your story :) I love skunks and think they really are very cute ... I am not familiar with the "smell" but be that as it may..they are still very cute and pretty :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this Marlene! Now it's your turn....I am going to have to buy this cart because of you! Are we even ;) Love the papers and colors! Perfect title work & cricut cuts!
What a fabulous LO and journaling, loved reading the story and the facts. You have chosen the perfect papers for this and those animal cuts are so cute, love the smirk on the dogs face, fav.
LOL, now this story was begging to be a layout. That title has me cracking up. Love the way you use the the strip on the bottom to bring it all together!!!
ROFLMAO at the "Dumbellicus Maxiumus". I am over here laughing my behind off. Guess what? Save this page because it'll qualify for the Scraptastic challenge later this month. I'm using that same sketch. I love the little animals you cut out. This page totally cracked me up!
Marlene, your journaling is the best! LOL!!! Love your take on the sketch - it is such a clean design! Now I really want that Create-a-Critter cartridge! I like how you used the same pp for the title, circle and punched strip. Really cool!
lol - loved your description - informative and the last part very humorous. In all fairness to Betty, maybe the skunk came in "stealth" and she didn't see in comin'. GREAT job of making a SMELLY situation into a GREAT lo. love the title and lil' skunk.
From a sketch by Heather J. Landry. Journaling: After Betty was mildly sprayed we borrowed a live trap. We trapped 2 adult and 3 half grown kits and released them in the same area a couple miles away. Along the way to finding out how to best proceed, I learned that baby skunks are born early in May, weaned at about 2 months and stay with their mother for the first year. Great Horned Owls (very poor sense of smell) are the only real threat to skunks. Wolves, coyotes, fox and bear avoid the smelly pests. What does that say about canus familiaris? Dumbellicus maximus.
