There are some sellers on ebay who make mats for framing and cut their scraps into 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" rectangles (ATC size). That would be a great option. I use them to make magnets because they are very thick and sturdy.
I bought thick black chipboard from ac Moore (art dept) and cut it into rectangles. Took several nights but I was on a business trip for work so I did it in the hotel room. Someone, cropper hopper I think, has plastic ones I saw after I did this. Were I to do it over I would buy them I think.
With 4 cats, any hanging ribbon storage is not practical (love the dress form ones). Anyway, this is what I came up with. It's amazing how much ribbon you can store when you take it off the spools plus it's portable if I want to take to a crop.
