I loved making this page! I saw a bunch of similar layouts in the Studio Calico gallery...it seems this paper is just asking for this type of technique! I cut holes out so the pattern paper would show through. I embossed the thickers so they would be black and some of them look a little less shiny. I like the overall look...a little more old style. The black dots were done with enamel accents.
