Since I won 2 digital stamps from Bows and Berries a couple weeks ago on My Partner in Crafting Crime Challenge I was able to play in several summertime or beach themed challenges this week. One of the stamps I picked was this wonderful beach bag since I didn’t have any beach themed stamps. It is even one of their brand new releases! This card was simple and fun to make. For the word “Relax” I cut out the word and then backed it with kraft paper. I then stuck the cut out letters back in so it looked like someone wrote in the sand!
CHALLENGES:
1) Alphabet Challenge Blog – J for Just one word – Our challenge for you this week is J for Just One Word. We only want to see One Word on your work this week please!
2) Bows and Berries Challenge #9 – Kraft paper I came up with this card trying to use Kraft paper with one of their images that I have and this is what I came up with!!
3) Creative Inspirations – To the Seaside – This week we want to see creations with a seaside theme!
4) My Partner in Crafting Crime Challenge – Let’s hit the beach!
I didn’t get this one posted in time but did want to mention it since this is the challenge that introduced me to the awesome stamps on Bows and Berries!
5) Totally Paper Crafts Challenge – The Beach! Now, on to this week’s challenge as it’s now summer!!! we have the theme The Beach cause that is where we should all be!!!
6) July – Use your Scraps Challenge at www.scrapbook.com – 85% of your project has to be made with scraps. The paper for the water and the kraft paper for the sand are all from my scrap drawers.
