Journaling reads: "Skip was Jerry's mom and dad's bird dog. He was such a sweet dog and so gentle with the kids. When Joshua was little he started calling Jerry's daddy “Papa Skip” (I guess because of the dog). Pictured here (L to R) are Jerry, Joshua, Betty, Janet, Benjamin, Sarah, Gail, Skip and Adam.

I have had my Sew Easy for a couple of months and been playing with it. I found that I definitely needed the mat that goes with it and that it works much better if I'm only working with a single thickness of paper. It is so much quicker for making the stitching holes. I still need to work on getting it to "go straight" LOL! The binding edge and "circles" were punched (EK Success - I think). I did the circles by sending the paper through the punch from both directions. All stitching was done by hand. The shaped piece in the bottom corner was cut on the Cuttlebug. Then I added some ribbon, staples, buttons, stamping and a ribbon slide. The letters are chipboard. The stamp is by Fiskars. The back circle of pp is handcut, the middle is torn and the top is cut with small postage stamp scissors. The dragonfly is a brad. Everything is inked in brown. The design is based on a PageMaps sketch. Thanks so much for looking!!!
