Journaling: 2-In my former life, I was a HUGE fan of the Royal Family. I bought every book I could find on them, and at the time there were quite a few. Now I get to store them.

3-Mama and Aunt Jewell came over tonight to help us try out this week’s new recipe: Chicken and Asparagus Crepes -- pretty tasty.

4-Every year the Hawleys host a huge 4th of July party; they have the perfect house for it. I hadn’t had a hot dog in ages, and this one was SO yummy.

5-Mama, Aunt Jewell, and I flew to Norfolk today to visit Aunt Peggy. After lunch we drove to her house in Snug Harbor, NC, which she has decorated with a lighthouse theme.

6-These three always have a good time when they get together.

7-We made a couple of trips into the drugstore in Hertford where they sell these giant cones for 79 cents.

8-Kathy and Stubby came to visit today. Stubby waited faithfully for his mama to come back inside.
