Such a sad, sad story, but a beautiful LO in memory of your sis. (This Aug. 5, it will be 20 years since my sister passed away - my mind is already flooded with memories of her. I fully understand abut the unanswered questions.)
Such a sad and tragic story, I'm so sorry that you and your family suffered this devastating loss.
You've created a stunning memorial to your sister with this page, so obviously designed with the love that you feel for her.
Gosh I am so sorry about your sister and appreciate how long its taken you to be able to do this but I'm sure you feel good about it now you have this wonderful memory of her with the children and the lovely memorial you've created, love the sentiment and the page.
Wow I'm so sorry about your sister.. my layout pervious to my new one, showed my sister who passed away too.. 35 years old 2 kids 1992 now has 3 grandchildren. However it wasn't the same type of passing. I'm so sorry. I do know the pain of having your sister gone. You did a great job on this layout.. these BoBunny papers are perfect for this type of layout. I know one can always ask WHY...
as in the passing of my grandfather.. 7 men in a boat with no life jackets?? Why would they do that.. and why so many in the boat. The why's are always there. I'm glad you have come to feel differently.. and dealing with her passing. You did a beautiful tribute for her.
Such a tragic story - you and your entire family must have been devasted. This is a beautiful lo and lovely tribute to your sister - hopefully it will be a reminder of the good times - ones you and her children with cherish.
Oh my! What a tragic story, and so heartfelt. I am sure this page was hard for you, but therapeutic. Thank you for sharing something so deep. Lovely page.
I'm certain this LO means so much to you and it must have been very emotional to create it. Our stories we archive are not always about happy moments and I'm glad you were able to pour so much into this one...it shows. I so apprecciate you sharing this part of your life.
Such a heartbreaking story...thank you for sharing this beautiful lo and the details of all their lives...you created a wonderful tribute to your sister, even though you do not have definite answers...she will always be in your heart, that is as far as you need to go to remember the good times!!
What a heart wrenching story, so sorry you had to go through something like that. I am so glad that those children had you to see them through such a hard time in their lives. Beautiful layout-love that you set the clock to the time she died-such a unique and personal touch!
What a tragic story and touching photo of her with her children. Suicide is a permanate solution to a temporary problem. This is a gorgeous tribute to her!!! I'm so very sorry for your entire's family's loss.
beautiful LO but very sad & heartbreaking story behind it. I'm sorry that all the family has had to deal with this awful pain & suffering on losing a loved one in such tragic circumstances.
I bought this paper a while ago and today I printed this photo of my beloved sister, Magda, who died 14 years ago together with her 3 children. (I think the papers work well with the photo) This was taken only a few weeks before her death. She committed suicide and there were so many questions about her death. The children stayed with me the day she died and I was in the unfortunate position to tell them!! I just couldn't do that and took them to a pastor to sit by and help me. I will never ever forget the look on their faces!!! She was only 34 years old and all this because of the wrong choice in men! I asked the children if their mother was crying or could they see something was wrong and then the youngest daughter answered "You can laught while you are crying"... remember her as a very caring person. She was always helping someone in trouble or baking/cooking for the children or our grandparents. She was also a champion squash player.
I must admit that I hated her for a long time after her death because of the fact that my parents, her children, my grandma and myself has to suffer and ask "WHY??" We still do not have answers, but I think different about her and the whole situation now.
I am so sorry that she will not be able to see her 2 grandchildren and her own lovely children now....
I also put something 'symbolic' in this... The clock right bottom is the time she died on 20 February 1998.
