Wonderful!!! Love the tiles and textures. Lovew the stamping too! Awesome as always!
Man does that carpet ever get them around the world fast!! I swear that Kim and I saw EK in the parking garage at CHA! No sign of Chena though. HA HA! They have now maxed out my credit card so they're going be begging on the street corner before long!! You know, Dad just retired Chena, the free ride is over!! AND his first SS check doesn't come until the end of September!
My internet was down last week so I missed seeing #19 earlier - you make us all laugh with your stories. TFS.... now, about the LO - GORGEOUS as always. I love all the different textures you used here. Very innovative!
Wow Jen, there is no end to your creativity and imagination! This is just amazing and I love all the wonderful textures here and the tiles look fabulous! Love it!
yes kobe,s comment is hilarious and just luv this awesome page you have created for the future book on the events of escape kitty...hey send him down under on the tree plane to play with our cocky...lol
LOL - for anyone that did not read Kobe2256's comments below...she's cracking me up! Yes, technically Maggi43 is financing the whole shebang. But yes, it is totally so Cat......I've taught her to mooch like a pro! That's my girl! LOL thanks for making me laugh.
so let me get this straight....Chena is financing this whole trip on her credit card and EK is just enjoying the free ride!?? that is so cat!!!!! great details, love all the different textutres. another fabulous LO!
You know what a big fan I am of the adventures of EK and Chena - you never fail to put a smile on my face or/or make me laugh out loud. And once again you've created a lovely MASTERPIECE with the tile, molding paste and stencil, inking, painting, etc., etc. Is there nothing you can't do??? TFS -one of these days I'll get brave and give one of these great techniques a try - thanks for inspiring.
Morocco, eh? Well, it's probably cooler there, so that's a plus for the two furry friends.
Love the results of the molding paste and mask, the tiles are awesome!!!
wow-you rocked this, girl!!Love the texture you created here and all the goodies...the stamping looks so awesome on there too...hmmm-if EK and Chena find a genie in a bottle, I wonder what their 3 wishes will be...?
Oh, piece of cake getting past the guard, he's lulled by the desert heat, only the horse seems to be aware of their arrival. A quick dash under the horse's belly on stealthy paws, duck Chena! so as not to tickle it's belly! As to your layout, secondary to my interest, I like the light stamping on the white. EK's burlap seems to becoming more refined due to her travels and exposure to more culture...Do hope no one is missing their ceramic tiles!(Can just picture you chipping away to free them all in the name of creativity.)
Escape kitty & cheno are quite a pair!! I don't allow my kitty a credit card yet. She's too young. Iloves the tiles. Your desert looks real. you did a fantastic job. Love the colors . Hugs
I agree there is a whole lot of gorgeous scrappy fun in THIS layout! This is so gorgeous... love all the textures and the beautiful chippies! Also tell Kitty to be very careful for scorpion's in the desert and Chena if there is enough credit on the card to bring back some lovely textures for future pages and a couple of those magic carpets! Hope they are safe and well!
Episode #19 – Little background to fill you in.... I have a Kitty who loves to escape. She can no longer roam about my yard because we now have a coyote that's moved into the neighborhood and is seeking her out. So she lives for the escape and man - she is fast out that door. She would prefer to roam about the countryside as she pleases.
Well, there is a Standard Poodle named Chena who somehow heard about Kitty's plight and would also like to roam about the world. Chena is owned by fellow scrapper Maggi43 – or rather Maggi is owned by Chena because that's how it really is with pets.
The two pets somehow managed to make it happen. They now escape and travel here and there, much to our dismay and with much expense to Maggi since Chena has her credit card.
In the last episode, Escape Kitty and Chena floated out of jail on a magic carpet and headed to Morocco. It appears they landed and have made their way to a palace to do a bit of site seeing. They are gonna have to get past the guard first. Since these hooligans already have experience handling guards while locked away at Niagara Falls, this should be a piece of cake.
Sunscreen Kitty – don't forget the sunscreen!
This was made for the Round Robin over at Scraps of Darkness. I used molding paste and a Prima mask to create some texture, and then added the ceramic tiles to resemble the light desert architecture.
Thanks for looking. Special thanks to Maggi43 for her collaboration on the whacky adventure.
Please visit Maggi43's gallery also for more antics from this crazy pair. She has some amazing work.

Also need to credit my new friedns Alex and Valerie H for sending me the photos from Morocco. They were perfect!
This was designed using the July Scraps of Darkness Kit. Just a whole lot of gorgeous scrappy fun packed in that kit!
