This is my granddaughter last Easter. We were trying to get a photo of her and her parents together, but she's two and totally preferred wandering around to posing with Mommy and Daddy with a smile on her face.
This layout was made for this month's Round Robin at Swirlydoos… I was so intimidated by having to follow LisaG (Star Sailor) and Rae, but they gave me such a fantastic starting point that in retrospect I wonder what I was afraid of. In place of Lisa's stitching and Rae's pearl lines, I used one of the stamps that came with the kit to create my borders and, in the process, discovered a new favorite; I think I'll be using this a lot. For the masking on the side of the photo, I dug out one of my Crafter's Workshop templates, daisy cluster. The butterflies are courtesy of Lisa (thanks, sweetie, these are real beauties!); the vines are cut with a Spellbinders die and stamped with part of my ever-increasing Heartfelt Creations collection. The larger flowers are from this month's technique kit, lightly tipped with a bit of Magical Mica; the rosebuds are from the main kit.
