Journaling: 9-NC: We visited nearby Edenton and rode the trolley -- which was free that day -- to see many of the beautiful historic houses.

10-NC: We didn’t make them outside over an open fire, but our microwave s’mores were yummy just the same.

11-NC & VA: We drove back from Snug Harbor and played Aggravation Rummy. Overall the cards were good to me during this trip.

12-VA & FL: Mama and Aunt Jewell as we waited for our flight at the airport

14-FL: Our new shed -- just like I knew he would, Don picked it up, unloaded it, and put it together all by himself. Katie and Sam are going to think it’s their new playhouse.

15-FL: My first attempt at making biscuits from scratch may be my last. The dough was too loose to roll out, so I ended up making drop biscuits, but they tasted all right.
