This is a photo of my sister and me, taken sometime around 1963. I'm the one holding the frog.

My mom was - IS - a fabulous seamstress and sewed everything my sister and I wore up through our high school years. Becky and I always matched as little girls, and we always looked cute. My mom was a fantastic designer, and she always managed to get more mileage out of a yard of fabric than anyone I've ever met. I have the fabric scraps from most of our outfits, and if I ever need another obsession, I may try creating a quilt from them.

Until then, this little layout will have to do.

The flowers are created with my Stampin'Up scallop punch and a McGill starburst punch. The button centers are from my grandmother's vintage button collection. I created the faux ribbon by laying a strip of patterned paper over some cardstock, and then folding it to give it the illusion of ribbon. The title letters are Kaisercraft chipboard letters, sprayed with Glimmer Mist and then pumped up with a bit of stickles to bring on the sparkle. I scanned the die cut Bo-Bunny clock and then printed it out on a smaller scale so it would fit this project idea better.

I can't claim credit for plan. I lifted one my my FAVORITE artists - Lvalent3 - Cherish layout. You can see it here. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/477999/view/3262063/-1/1.html

Once again, I'm indebted to great artists who inspire my creativity and great community members who leave love and constructive ideas. Thanks for being a member of my extended family. I really appreciate all you ladies!
